Costs and Budget Planning
When planning any event, first determine the TOP THREE priorities for you. Next, determine your "WOW" factor. The WOW factor is what will stick with your guests forever. Maybe it's the grand entrance, or the first dance, or the cake! Whatever that is, make sure your top three professionals know so they can create and capture it in a way that lasts forever.
Allot 60% - 70% on those Top Three Priorities. If food is important to you, understand the inherent costs associated with food (gratuity, tax, etc.) and budget accordingly. But, from experience, nobody remembers how amazing the food was...ever.
Example Wedding Budget:
Maximum Budget Limit - $18,000
Top Three Priorities:
- Venue: $2000 - $3200
- Photographer: $2500 - $3500
- Entertainment & Lighting Design: $2000 - $4000
This leaves between $7,300 - $11,500 to spend on every other detail to the event. We recommend investing in these top three priorities as they will contribute to the majority of your events success.
